COSTOLUTO TYPE TOMATO

Suitable for tomato salad. A large, slightly flattened fruit clearly marked by its ribs. Very firm, it can have empty spaces inside, and has an average weight of around 150 g. The berry has a soft pulp and the flavor is pleasantly aromatic. The harvest can begin when most of the fruit has veered from green to red.
Cultivation: early variety, it can be planted early in spring and summer. The development of the plant is indeterminate and requires a supporting structure.
Disease resistance: it is poorly resistant to insects and cryptogamic attacks and requires preventive care.
Green pruning: this variety is very exuberant. After removing the axillary regrowth and the sterile buds, only one or two buds are grown. Trimming after the sixth flower cluster is recommended.
Distance between transplantation: about 70 cm from row to row and 30 cm on the row.
